Important Marriage License Information

The State of California does not require blood tests to get your marriage license. All you need to do is appear at any of the County Clerk's branch locations together with valid photo identification showing you are at least 18 years of age. If your divorce became final within 90 days of applying for a new Marriage License, you must bring in your final divorce decree.

Here's the skinny:

Fees: $50.00 for Marriage License
Bring: Both Bride & Groom, Photo ID, money for fee, divorce decree if needed
